Sunday Grind

5th–10th Grade Boys

A high-energy, game-based basketball training program designed for 5th–10th grade boys who want to build their skills, confidence, basketball IQ, and competitive edge through real play and purposeful coaching.

What Is Sunday Grind?

Sunday Grind is more than just practice — it’s a structured, Sunday afternoon development experience built around live, game-like play and strategy. Players participate in half-court action including 3-on-3, 2-on-2, and 1-on-1 scenarios, emphasizing decision-making, fundamentals, teamwork, and on-court communication.

This program is ideal for players who want to:

  • Improve ball handling, shooting, and finishing

  • Develop confidence in competitive settings

  • Understand spacing, reads, and how to make plays

  • Gain strength in both individual and team play

  • Prepare for middle school, travel, and school sports

Players are grouped by age and skill level (e.g., 5th–7th grade and 8th–10th grade) so each session is age-appropriate and competitive.

How It Works

Each Sunday session focuses on a blend of:

  • Live game play to build basketball IQ

  • Skill application in real scenarios

  • Fast-paced competitive drills

  • Coaching feedback and individualized attention

This approach ensures young athletes aren’t just drilling — they are applying skills under pressure, learning how the game really works, and becoming more confident on the floor.

Program Goals

At Sunday Grind, we emphasize:

Decision-making – Players learn to read defenses and make the right play.
Confidence – Frequent touches and real play build self-assurance.
Competition with Purpose – Competitive sessions that teach rather than just test.
Growth Mindset – Coaches encourage players to push themselves and improve each week.
